At Salas O’Brien, our commitment to community-building means that we love contributing to education projects. That's why we were especially excited to attend last week's ribbon-cutting at the Center for Advanced Careers in Houston's Alief ISD.
The 235,000-square-foot school can accommodate up to 2,500 students receiving training in areas as diverse as veterinary science, manufacturing, engineering, architecture, welding, IT, culinary arts, and entrepreneurship. In addition to technical and skills training, students receive rigorous academic support that prepares them for any career or college path they choose.
Salas O'Brien provided comprehensive mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and technology engineering for the project, which includes innovative and energy-saving LED lighting both inside and outside the building.
Congratulations to our friends at Alief on completing this monumental new building! We were excited to partner with you and look forward to seeing the Center serve students for years to come.
