If your vacation plans are taking you to the Caribbean or another island destination this summer, then look around you: the building you see or the hotel you stay in may very well be a Salas O'Brien project.
Here are some projects you should look for:
Ritz-Carlton Turks and Caicos
Salas O'Brien performed mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering for the Ritz-Carlton Turks and Caicos. The beachfront property has three 12-story residential towers and is the most significant such project ever in Turks and Caicos. The hotel tower includes a casino, fitness center, restaurant, and luxury spa, while the other two towers consist of 60 private condominiums. In order to meet the unique water requirements for this site, Salas O’Brien’s team implemented creative water treatment processes.
St. Regis Bermuda
Salas O'Brien is performing mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection engineering at this 122-room, 5-star resort that includes a casino and golf course. It even features a spa located in a historic fort!
King Edward VII Memorial Hospital in Bermuda
Salas O'Brien's commissioning team provided fundamental and enhanced commissioning for the King Edward VII Memorial Hospital in Bermuda. As the largest construction project endeavored on Bermuda, this effort required excellent communication between the design and construction team based in London, the Bermudian Government, and the Salas O’Brien team.
