Engineering News-Record (ENR) just released its rankings of the top design firms in Texas and Louisiana—and it will surprise no one familiar with Salas O'Brien that the firm was ranked #7 in MEP Engineering and #10 in Education for the region.

In November 2015, Aldine Independent School District voters approved a $798 million bond proposal for renovation and new construction projects. Nearly $99 million of that was for upgrading technology in existing schools with the goal of fostering better education and safety.

Salas O'Brien is thrilled to announce that the firm has moved up to #232 on Engineering News-Record's list of Top 500 Design Firms, a jump from its previous rankings of #300 in 2016 and #443 in 2015. The list includes all types of engineering (mechanical, electrical, civil, transportation, structural, geotech, environmental) and architecture firms for all industry types. The rankings were announced during an industry panel today hosted by ENR.
